Adrienne has always had a great passion for traveling and exploring the world. At age 8, she traveled to Thailand with her family. This was her first real taste of travel and she has had the bug ever since. In middle school she was introduced to Global Explorers, now No Barriers Youth, and fell in love with the organization and what it stood for. Since then, she has traveled with the organization three times, and loved every trip. But it wasn’t until she traveled to Cambodia with Global Explorers that she realized that her passion for travel goes much deeper than simple vacations. Here, she came to the realization that no matter what our differences are, we are all people. These trips helped her to discover the direction that she wanted to take in her life.
After graduating from high school, Adrienne decided to defer her admission to Butler University in order to spend a year working, travelling, and gaining new experiences. When she heard about the possibility of interning with No Barriers Youth, she jumped at the opportunity and is so excited to be working with the organization. She plans on studying elementary education and international studies.
In her free time, Adrienne loves to ski and spend time with her family in Steamboat, play her french horn, read, and do anything that allows her to be outdoors!
